- How long should I expect to wait before I get benefits of an herbal supplement?
The time for herbal supplements to act will vary from herb to herb just like drugs. Herbs usually take longer to act in the body, so it might be a week or two before even minor improvements are seen. Usually the changes from herbs will be more subtle than for drugs, so you may not notice these changes for some time.

- How do I know if an herbal formula or formula including herbs will interact with my medication?
This is a very good question. There are some herbs that are known to interact with certain drugs. Many herbs have no known herb-drug interactions and for some herbs it is not yet known about the interactions. If you have a concern please ask us before taking a product. If you are experiencing a rash, dizziness, swelling, itching around the anus, itchy eyes or skin; sinus congestion, from taking an herb with a drug, discontinue the herb and seek advice from a qualified health care provider before continuing to take the herbal product.

Yes! Naturopaths have been saying for years that every person needs a good multivitamin included with their normal or abnormal dietary intake of food. In 2002 the AMA released a supportive statement saying "all individuals should be taking a multivitamin pill every day". This verifies what Naturopaths have been saying all along.

- Is there really a difference between omega-3 products?
Quality is ever-so-important in positive results. Fresh ingredients and great manufacturing processes is essential for a lower concentration of peroxide. Peroxide breaks down the quality of the omega-3 and many times we get little to no benefit from the supplement.
